'Modern Family' Cast Prepares Emmy Fashion and Acceptance Speeches
Boasting an impressive 14 Emmy nominations, the cast of "Modern Family" has a lot of planning to do for the August 29 awards show. What red carpet styles can be expected? Are the actors planning on winging their acceptance speeches or are they already hard at work with a pen and paper? ET got the latest from the actors at a table read of a new episode of this groundbreaking show. Ty Burrell has his outfit picked out for the biggest television event of the year. "I am wearing nothing but a beer hat," he teased. Costar Julie Bowen is relaxed about the issue and is waiting for a gown to come her way, saying, "I'm sure the dress will appear by magic." She's taking the same approach to her acceptance speech should her name be called up to the podium. "Absolutely, under no circumstances would there be any planning," she said with resolve. Ty is torn between the two options--to write or not to write. "First of all, I don't win things, so I wouldn't prepare a speech, but then my worst nightmare in the world is that the one in a gazillion lottery ball lands and somehow I were to win, I'd be up there looking like a horse's patootie," he worried.

Luke Wilson Rises to the Top in 'Middle Men'
Luke Wilson stumbles onto an Internet gold mine in the new drama 'Middle Men,' in theaters Friday, and he says of his new project, "You go to the movies to be entertained, and you definitely get that in spades with this movie." Based on a true story, Luke plays Jack Harris, a businessman and family man in 1995 who agrees to help steer the budding business of Wayne Beering (Giovanni Ribisi) and Buck Dolby (Gabriel Macht), Internet developers who sell adult entertainment online. Almost overnight, the entrepreneurs find themselves raking in millions – and facing the wrath of the FBI, politicians and the seedier side of the adult film industry. "These guys were at the right place at the right time, and though obviously a little crazy, they were kind of geniuses in their own right," says Luke. "It always made me think of the oil business and the Rockefellers and the Hunts just being in the right place at the right time with the right business, and then one minute they're just plowing along, and the next minute they're millionaires."
